Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cup (10-ounces) plant-milk of choice
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp ground ginger
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • Splash vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients & Heat: In a small pot over medium heat, add 1 ¼ cup milk of choice, ½ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp cinnamon, ⅛ tsp ground ginger, a dash of nutmeg, splash of vanilla extract and 1 tbsp pure maple syrup.
  • Whisk Vigorously: Whisk the mixture continuously to fully combine the spices and break up any clumps.
  • Heat Until Just Before Boiling: Allow the mixture to heat up slowly, whisking frequently, until it is just below boiling (about 3–4 minutes). Do not let it boil over.
  • Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother texture, pour the steamer through a fine mesh strainer to remove any cinnamon or spice particles.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.

Straining for Smoothness
If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the drink through a fine mesh strainer before serving to remove any undissolved spice particles.
Sweetness Adjustments
Maple syrup adds a warm depth of flavor, but you can swap it for honey, agave, or your preferred sweetener. Adjust to taste.
Frothy Option
For a barista-style frothy texture, use a milk frother or blend the mixture for a few seconds before serving.
Storage & Reheating
If making ahead, store in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.
