Instructions
Prepare the whipped cream (optional): In a small mixing bowl, combine ¼ cup heavy cream, ½ tsp granulated sugar, and a splash of vanilla extract. Use an electric hand mixer or whisk vigorously by hand until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Warm the cocktail: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine ¾ cup vegan eggnog, 1 ounce peanut butter whiskey, and ¼ tsp nutmeg. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Do not boil.
Assemble the drink: Pour the warmed cocktail into an 8-ounce mug or smaller.
Garnish and serve: Top with vegan whipped cream of choice and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg. Serve immediately.
